World Cup Final NoCo Schonach

Finally the Nordic Combined  WC winter ended up with an exciting competition weekend in Schonach. After months of snow lack, the weather conditions were absolutely in winter mood with lots of snow fall in southern Germany.

Kristjan Ilves and Han-Hendrik Piho competed at the Schwarzwald Cup for the estonian team on saturday. Kristjan showed an amazing performance at the hill and became 10th after jumping. At the track he lost many positions and finished 38th. Han-Hendrik skied well and was able to improve 7 positions, but because of his bad jumping rank, he just ended up 39th.

Even though the World Cup winter is finished yet, the Continental Cup will celebrate its final this weekend in Klingenthal, Germany. The estonian team will send 4 WC athletes, which will be:

Kail Piho, Han-Hendrik Piho, Kristjan Ilves and Karl Tiirmaa
